Eclipse online RGA installed in our lab

A new Eclipse process gas chromatograph from Wasson-ECE Instrumentation has now been installed in our technology hall, equipped with catalytic units with flow reactors for catalyst testing, sustainable chemicals research, chemical recycling of plastics, and the production of alternative fuels. The first of its kind in Europe and one of the most modern process RGA analyzers, this instrument provides more efficient and accurate gas analysis.

With four independent measurement channels (2 TCD for hydrogen and permanent gases, and 2 FID for hydrocarbon analysis up to C12) and programmable heated ovens for capillary columns, it enables accurate, fast online analysis of volatile products from catalytic units, from hydrogen to n-dodecane. Thanks to automated sampling from up to six reactors, it replaces time-consuming sampling into Tedlar bags, reduces measurement uncertainty, and speeds up research.
