Miloš at ISFR 2026 in Karlsruhe
On September 7-9th, Miloš represented our team's activities at the International Symposium on Feedstock Recycling of Polymeric Materials (ISFR 2026), held in Karlsruhe (Germany).
He delivered a presentation entitled "Pyrolysis of PolyAl from beverage cartons in a pilot-scale screw reactor: product yields and oil quality," showcasing our progress in the pyrolysis of waste beverage cartons—work conducted in collaboration with Enress, a.s., as part of the bachelor's thesis of our student Vít Vyskočil.
Although only one of our representatives was present, it was a pleasure to hear three other presentations from companies and universities acknowledging our contributions to chemical plastics recycling, particularly the development of advanced analytical methods and the hydrorefining of pyrolysis oils. The research presented thus complemented broader awareness of our lesser-known activities.
In addition to the scientific program, we visited the Karlsruhe University North Campus. This gave us insight into ongoing pilot-scale applied research at KIT.
