Excursion in Enaspol
At the end of November 2025, Miloš and Vít visited Enaspol a.s. chemical plant located in Rtyně nad Bílinou. During the meeting, we presented our project to the company's management, which focuses on producing surfactants from waste plastics, and opened a discussion about future collaboration, primarily to implement the process on a pilot scale.
The program also included a tour of Enaspol's sulfonation reactor and laboratories, which provided valuable insight into the company's technological processes and background.
The aim of our project PE2SURF (TQ15000068) is to develop a technological chain for producing surfactants based on alkylbenzene sulfonates from waste polyethylene, thereby increasing the recycling rate of these plastics and contributing to a circular economy. Our project (TQ15000068) received funding from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and is realized in collaboration with Ranido.
You can also contribute to this goal by joining us in solving current societal challenges, for example, through your final thesis or a research internship with our team. If you are interested in more information about our research, do not hesitate to contact us or visit us directly in our laboratory A154 at the University of Chemical Technology Prague.
